It is now understood that the brain is far more moldable and responsive to stimuli throughout our lives than previously imagined. With new understanding of the neurobiology of reward and motivation, we now have far more effective approaches to changing our behavior with others, maximizing our brain health against the stress response, depression and anxiety. In this workshop with a renowned holistic psychiatrist, we will draw from the leading edges of neuroscience to explore the key components in brain health and brain chemistry, and learn how to: break core repetitive behaviors; change habitual patterns and dysfunctional relationships; develop a life plan to get our needs met; adopt daily adjustments and choices that are proven to reduce inflammation and optimize brain health to reduce depression and anxiety (including diet, stress management, social support, breathing techniques, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and other spiritual practices); and the use of minerals, botanicals, tinctures, and other supplements; and more.
